Job summary

PAM Health Specialty Hospital of San Antonio Medical Center is seeking a Respiratory Care Practitioner to join our inpatient team. The RCP will perform routine respiratory therapies, diagnostics, and emergency cardiopulmonary procedures, while maintaining all equipment in working order.

The ideal candidate will hold state licensure, current BLS and ACLS certifications, and may have a high school diploma or an associate degree. One year of clinical respiratory experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be certified or licensed in the state where the hospital resides to practice respiratory care.
• Current BLS and ACLS certification required.
• Blood gas licensure required if employed in the state of Nevada.
• High school diploma required; associate degree preferred.
• Minimum of one-year clinical respiratory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine therapy, diagnostic and emergency cardiopulmonary procedures for patients in PAM Health hospitals and maintains all equipment in working order.
• Provides phlebotomy and basic laboratory testing for the patient population as required or requested.
