Job summary

PAM Health Specialty and Rehabilitation Hospital of Covington is seeking a Respiratory Care Practitioner to support inpatient care for a diverse patient population. The role involves routine therapy, diagnostics, and emergency procedures, with emphasis on maintaining equipment and adhering to clinical standards.

The ideal candidate will hold state licensure in respiratory care, be certified in BLS and ACLS, and have at least one year of clinical experience.

Qualifications

• Must be certified or licensed in the state where the hospital resides to practice respiratory care.
• Current BLS and ACLS certification required.
• Blood gas licensure required if employed in the state of Nevada.
• High school diploma or associate degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• The Respiratory Care Practitioner performs routine therapy, diagnostic and emergency cardiopulmonary procedures and maintains equipment.
• Provides phlebotomy and basic laboratory testing as required.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
