Job summary

ProMedica is seeking a Respiratory Care Practitioner at Flower Hospital in the Respiratory Care department. The role involves providing care in general, clinical, emergency, and diagnostic settings, building care plans, evaluating goals, and communicating with the health care team.

You will also contribute to clinical instruction for students and staff, orient new personnel, and support team growth to strengthen patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and credential as CRT or RRT by NBRC.
• Current BLS.
• Must be licensed to render respiratory care by Ohio and/or Michigan, with ongoing CE and competencies.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care in general, clinical, emergency, and diagnostic care areas.
• Create care plans, evaluate goals, and maintain communication with the health care team.
• Assist in clinical instruction of respiratory care, nursing, medical students and residents as needed.
• Orient new staff and contribute to team development.

Education

High school diploma or GED

Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

Current BLS

Licensed to render respiratory care by state(s) of practice - Ohio and/or Michigan
