Job summary

MultiCare Yakima Memorial Hospital is seeking a Respiratory Care Practitioner to deliver skilled respiratory care and manage ventilator support in a 0.9 FTE day shift.

Requirements include AMA approved Respiratory Therapy Training, NBRC CRT, WA RCP license, ACLS within 90 days, and CPR. One year of acute care experience is preferred; join a dedicated team focused on patient care and community wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Graduate of AMA approved Respiratory Therapy Training program.
• Certified (CRT) by the National Board of Respiratory Care.
• Licensed as a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) with the State of Washington.
• Eligibility to sit for NBRC RRT exam.
• ACLS/PALS/NRP depending on population served within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Deliver skilled respiratory care modalities and interventions.
• Manage ventilator support and related therapies.
• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory procedures.
• Assess patient needs and adjust treatment objectives.
• Provide age-appropriate care under limited supervision.
