Job summary

Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center & Children's Hospital in Spokane, WA is recruiting Respiratory Care Practitioners and Respiratory Therapists for full-time, variable-shift openings. You will collaborate with physicians and nurses to plan and implement the patient care plan and assist with ventilatory support, monitoring devices and oxygen therapy as required.

Required qualifications include Washington RCP license upon hire and BLS from the American Heart Association.

This posting is for multiple openings of Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) or Respiratory Therapist (RT) at Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center & Children's Hospital in Spokane, WA. We are hiring for Full-Time, Variable Shift opportunities.

Respiratory Care Practitioner - Respiratory Therapy at Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center & Children's Hospital in Spokane, WA

The Department-based Respiratory Therapist is expected to demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of contemporary Respiratory Therapy principles. He/She will collaborate with Physicians and Nurses in planning and implementing the patient plan of care. Completion of the department orientation program as well as unit-specific orientation, as required, is mandatory. This individual assists the Physician with the delivery and direction of Respiratory Therapy. She/He may be qualified by training and experience to operate and maintain complex ventilatory support systems, monitoring and resuscitation devices, respiratory care procedures and patient assessments, diagnostic procedures and oxygen therapy. Activities may also include other patient care functions for which he or she is qualified.

The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors.
