Job summary

Providence Swedish is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for Swedish Issaquah, WA. This part-time night shift role requires operating respiratory care equipment for patients across age groups, with onboarding to licensure and AHA certifications as outlined.

The successful candidate will join a team dedicated to compassionate, patient-centered care, with a strong emphasis on professional development and adherence to best practices in respiratory therapy.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited respiratory therapy program sufficient for licensure in Washington State.
• Washington Respiratory Care Practitioner License required on hire.
• American Heart Association BLS certification on hire.
• ACLS certification within 90 days of hire.
• PALS certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate respiratory care equipment for diagnosis and treatment.
• Work with adult, pediatric and neonatal patients as needed.

Sets up and operates various types of respiratory care equipment to be used in the diagnosis and treatment of respiratory disease and/or illness. May work with adult, pediatric and neonatal patient populations.

Required Qualifications:

• Successful completion of an accredited respiratory therapy educational program sufficient to qualify for licensure in Washington State
• Upon hire: Washington Respiratory Care Practitioner License
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
• National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association within 90 days of hire
• National Provider PALS - American Heart Association within 90 days of hire

Preferred Qualification:

• 6 months of previous hospital based work experience, in the field of respiratory care
