RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RRT) to provide comprehensive respiratory care to inpatients and outpatients at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center. The night shift, full-time position supports adult, pediatric, and infant patients with therapeutic and diagnostic procedures, including ventilator management and bronchopulmonary care.

Requires NJ Respiratory license and RRT/CRT credentials; BLS certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Licensed as a Respiratory Therapist in New Jersey (RRT/CRT preferred).
• Current NJ license and BLS certification required.
• Experience with adult, pediatric and infant respiratory care is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care to inpatients and outpatients, including therapeutic and diagnostic procedures.
• Operate mechanical ventilators and administer respiratory therapies.
• Monitor vital signs, arterial blood gases, and patient responses to treatments.
• Assist with breathing exercises and supervise therapy given by aides and technicians.
