Job summary

LiveWell Homecare Agency, LLC is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to provide care for diverse patient populations, delivering therapeutic treatments and bedside diagnostic procedures with precision.

The role requires completing patient assessments, reviewing and maintaining care plans, adjusting therapies as needed, and serving as a preceptor for students and new staff to support learning and integration.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a respiratory therapy program with relevant clinical training.
• NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist credential required or equivalent as applicable.
• Indiana State license required; CPR certification is required; ACLS/NRP preferred or obtainable within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Complete patient assessments and deliver appropriate respiratory therapies.

Job description

Key Responsibilities: Reviews and maintains respiratory care plans, performs patient evaluations, and adjusts treatments accordingly. Acts as a preceptor for students and new staff to support their learning and integration.

• Complete patient assessments and deliver appropriate respiratory therapies.
• Assist in training and mentorship of new hires and students.
• Maintain accurate documentation of care plans and procedures.

Qualifications & Skills: Must graduate from a respiratory therapy program, hold a valid NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist credential, and possess a current Indiana State license. CPR certification is required, with ACLS and NRP certifications preferred or obtainable within 6 months.

Additional Requirements: Ability to be on call, lift up to 30 pounds, and adapt to various clinical settings.
