Job summary

CarolinaEast Health System is seeking an RC Assistant to provide basic respiratory care to pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. You will perform oxygen/humidity therapy, aerosol therapy, nebulizers, IPPB, ABGs and other non-critical procedures under supervision.

Minimum requirements include enrollment in the second year of a respiratory care associate degree program and active BLS certification, with a focus on age-appropriate care and customer service excellence.

Qualifications

• Active enrollment in the second year curriculum of an approved respiratory care associate degree program.
• Current BLS certification.
• Ability to provide age-appropriate care and assess patient data across life span.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic respiratory care services to pediatric through geriatric patients (e.g., oxygen/humidity therapy, nebulizers, chest PT).
• Assist with non-critical respiratory procedures and patient monitoring while supporting the clinical team.
