Job summary

ProMedica is seeking a Respiratory Care Assistant in Toledo, Ohio. The role supports patients with respiratory conditions by assembling, operating and troubleshooting respiratory care equipment and providing instruction to patients on disease processes and tobacco cessation.

The position is part-time with shift variability, within the Respiratory Care Department at Toledo Hospital. Enrolled or recent graduates of an accredited respiratory therapy program are required, along with Ohio Limited

Responsibilities

• Assemble, operate and troubleshoot therapeutic and diagnostic equipment for patients with respiratory conditions.
• Teach patients about disease processes, tobacco cessation and respiratory care services provided.
