Atrium Health Cleveland is seeking a Respiratory Care Assistant to support respiratory therapy services. Works under supervision of a licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner to perform treatments, oxygen administration, suctioning, and ABG collection/analysis for neonatal to geriatric patients.

The role requires enrollment in a CoARC-accredited program, NCRCB RCA registration, and BLS certification, with eligibility for sign-on. Per diem/part-time schedule varies by department needs.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a CoARC-accredited Respiratory Care program in good standing.
• Registered with the NCRCB as an RCA.
• Competency evaluations completed for duties.
• BLS certification required by policy.

Responsabilités

• Perform respiratory care treatments and oxygen administration.
• Suctioning and arterial blood gas puncture/analysis.
• Assess growth and development needs across life span and document age-specific requirements.
• Provide or arrange patient and family education and care coordination.
