Advocate Health serves as the backdrop for a part-time Respiratory Therapist role at Atrium Health Cleveland - Respiratory Therapy Services. The selected candidate will support licensed respiratory care practitioners and perform treatments, oxygen administration, suctioning and ABG sampling for patients from neonatal to geriatric ages.

Qualified applicants are currently enrolled in CoARC-accredited programs, registered RCA with NCRCB, and must meet BLS and competency requirements.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in good standing in an accredited Respiratory Care educational program approved by the Committee on Accreditation for Respiratory Care (CoARC).
• Registered with the North Carolina Respiratory Care Board (NCRCB) as an RCA.
• Completed competency evaluations for each of the duties of the job.
• BLS required per policy guidelines.

Responsabilités

• Performs respiratory care treatments and oxygen administration.
• Suctions patients and obtains and runs ABG samples.
• Demonstrates knowledge of growth and development across the life span and documents age-specific needs.
