Qualifications

• Holds at a minimum a bachelor’s degree in respiratory care or related discipline appropriate for college teaching.
• Documents two years’ clinical practicum/practice experience in the clinical area as relevant to clinical application of curricular content.
• Credentialed as a Registered Respiratory Therapist for 3 years or greater.
• RRT credential; TN and MS licensure; and holds AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist with administering the Respiratory Care program rules, regulations, and policies per CoARC standards.
• Assess clinical competency of Respiratory Care students.
• Serve as liaison between clinical education sites, department leaders, and program director.
