Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa is seeking a Respiratory Care Practitioner I. You will perform diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory care per physician orders and hospital protocols, while maintaining proficiency in respiratory lab modalities.

You will collaborate with the interprofessional care team and document/bill for services in the EMR, contributing to high-quality patient care and accurate record-keeping.

Formación

• Associate's degree in respiratory therapy required; substitution with a respiratory certification program may be accepted.
• Current licensure: RRT/RT, BLS, ACLS.
• Preferred licensure: NBRC, AARC/FSRC memberships.

Responsabilidades

• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory care procedures per physician orders, policies, and protocols.
• Maintain proficiency with respiratory and blood gas lab modalities and equipment.
• Document and bill for services in the electronic medical record; collaborate with interprofessional care team.

Additional responsibilities are required, such as maintaining proficiency with all respiratory and blood gas lab modalities and equipment, communicating with other members of the interprofessional care team, and documenting/billing for services in the electronic medical record.
