Deep Portate Learning Center is an environemntal learning center in Hackensack, MN. Nestled on 6,307 acres of managed wilderness, we serve about 5,000 school aged students September-May with classes in outdoor education, recreation, conservation, ecology, etc. We are a sustainable campus that uses wind, solar, and biomass for energy. https://www.deep-portage.org/

PURPOSE OF JOB

The purpose of this position is to operate a sustainable wood heating and renewable energy system for an environmental education center, maintain snowshoe, XC skiing and hiking trails for students and public, maintain a safe campus and grounds, and assist with campus maintenance. https://www.deep-portage.org/renewable-energy
