- Plan, coordinate, notify and implement all meetings and conferences for all students for whom you are Teacher of Record.
- Plan and implement appropriate IEP (Individualized Education Program) services for each student for whom you are TOR (Teacher of Record).
- Develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), which are learning programs designed to align more with a child's development than with grade-level expectations
- Use formal and informal assessment strategies to manage student learning and monitor progress.
- Provide Teacher of Service support as directed.
- Evaluate student achievement/performance. Prepare progress reports reflecting data aligned with student goals.
- Facilitate team collaboration to meet the needs of students. Share knowledge and resources that enhance student learning.
- Collaborate with parents, other teachers, and instructional assistants to discuss the students' progress.
- Demonstrate a knowledge of and ability to implement a variety of accommodations and modifications.
- Develop and support Functional Behavior Analysis and Behavior Intervention Plans.
- Vary instructional techniques to address diverse student learning styles.
- Pursue growth opportunities that enhance professional performance.
- Guide and support instructional assistant(s) to effectively deliver IEP services aligned to the needs of the student(s).
- Facilitate opportunities for students with IEPs to participate in an inclusive educational environment.
- Co-teach with general education teachers, as scheduled.
- Maintain compliance with Article 7.
