Job summary

The Goddard School of Doylestown is seeking a Resource Teacher to support children from 3 months to 6 years across classrooms with a warm, patient approach. You will help maintain safe, nurturing environments and foster each child’s social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development while communicating professionally with families.

We offer no-nights/no-weekends shifts, competitive hourly pay based on experience, and CDA credential training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; college enrollment or ECE degree a plus.
• Previous experience with young children preferred but not required — we will train the right person.
• Genuine warmth, empathy, and compassion for children of all ages.
• Dependable, adaptable, and comfortable moving between classrooms and age groups.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs including safely transferring infants.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain safe, healthy, and nurturing learning environments.

• Build positive relationships with families and communicate professionally.
• Collaborate with lead and assistant teachers across all age groups.
• Support routine childcare tasks and adhere to all health and safety guidelines.
• Assist with infant care tasks including crib transfers and feeding routines.

Looking to get your start in early childhood education? Or a college student wanting real classroom experience? We have part-time and full-time shifts available and we’ll work around your schedule. You'll gain hands-on experience across all age groups — infants through kindergarten — with full support from our team every step of the way.

Resource Teacher Key Responsibilities
