Job summary

Edlogical, a member of the Point Quest Group, is seeking a Resource Specialist Teacher in Anaheim, CA. The role focuses on case management, developing and implementing IEPs, and supporting students with diverse learning needs in a mission-driven environment.

You will collaborate with families and staff, supervise paraprofessionals, and drive instructional leadership while maintaining compliant documentation and progress tracking.

Qualifications

• State certification required by the Department of Education.
• Bachelor's degree; Master's in Special Education preferred.
• Background check (DOJ/FBI Live Scan) and TB clearance as applicable by state.

Responsibilities

• Develop lesson plans aligned to IEP goals and state standards.
• Adapt curriculum to meet individual student needs.
• Lead PBIS program with behavior tracking and parent updates.
• Supervise paraprofessionals in the classroom.
• Attend IEP meetings and maintain compliant documentation.
• Assess and track progress toward IEP goals.
• Collaborate with service providers, families, and outside agencies.
• Support assistive technology and augmentative communication devices.

About the Role:

Case Management Support serving students with diverse learning needs. You'll develop and implement IEPs, manage classroom behavior using PBIS, supervise paraprofessionals, and collaborate with families and staff to support each student’s academic and social growth. This role combines instructional leadership with hands-on teaching in a supportive, mission-driven environment.

What You'll Do:

• Develop lesson plans with accommodations aligned to IEP goals and state standards
• Adapt general education curriculum to meet individual student needs
• Implement and manage classroom PBIS program, including behavior tracking and parent communication
• Supervise and direct paraprofessionals assigned to your classroom
• Attend and lead IEP meetings; write updates and maintain compliant documentation
• Conduct assessments and track student progress toward IEP goals
• Collaborate with related service providers, families, and outside agencies
• Support implementation of assistive technology and augmentative communication devices

What We're Looking For:

Must Have:

• State Specific Department of Education Required Certification
• Bachelor's degree (Master's in Special Education strongly preferred)
• DOJ/FBI Live Scan background and TB clearance, as applicable by state

Preferred:

• 2–5 years working with students with learning and/or social-emotional needs
• Experience implementing curriculum and behavior interventions
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency with IEP documentation systems (e.g., IEPpro)
