Job summary

University of Vermont Health Network in Burlington, VT seeks a Resource RN for a part-time, 24-hour weekly role. You will float across Medical-Surgical, Cardiology/Telemetry and related units, providing skilled nursing care from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, with a $7.00/hour differential and a prorated $20,000 signing bonus for external candidates.

This is a bargaining union position. The role requires at least 1 year of direct RN experience in inpatient settings and an active Vermont RN license.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Vermont.
• Minimum 1 year of direct RN experience.
• Experience in Medical-Surgical or mixed inpatient units.

Responsibilities

• Care for a mixed population across Medical-Surgical, Cardiology/Telemetry, Critical Care and Maternal Child units.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care.
• Float between units to cover inpatient staffing needs.
• Adapt to on-call and shift requirements.
