Job summary

James A Haley VA Medical Center in Tampa is seeking qualified Registered Nurses to join our Resource (Float) Pool, providing flexible coverage across inpatient units and outpatient clinics. You will report to the Nurse Manager in Nursing Operations and help deliver safe, high-quality care while coordinating with multidisciplinary teams.

The role features day shifts with a 12-hour rotation including weekends and holidays, and VA total rewards including leave and federal benefits.

Qualifications

• English language proficiency required by VA policies.
• Current, full, active, and unrestricted RN license in the United States.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ACEN/CCNE) or equivalent pathway.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care across multiple inpatient units and outpatient clinics.
• Collaborate with Nurse Manager and Nursing Operations to implement policies and care plans.
• Deliver safe, high-quality patient care and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Participate in 12-hour shift rotations, including weekends and holidays.
