Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of a nursing program approved by an accrediting agency and accredited by ACEN or CCNE.
• Current, full, active, unrestricted RN license in a US state/territory/DC.
• Foreign-educated nurses require degree equivalency validation from a recognized body.
• GNT Exception: temporary appointment for licensure pursuit may be offered (up to 120 days).

Responsibilities

• Collaborates in development, implementation, evaluation, and revision of policies, procedures, and guidelines.
• Provides leadership and feedback to peers to improve nursing care.
• Supports colleagues with knowledge sharing to ensure safe, quality care.
• Leads Shared Governance efforts to address care disparities between units.
• Cares for patients from admission to discharge, including meds, ADLs, and documentation.
