Job summary

The Christ Hospital Health Network is seeking a registered nurse to apply holistic care using its Professional Practice Model. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in collaboration with the care team.

The role requires current RN licensure in Ohio, BLS and ACLS within set timeframes, and a BSN within five years for most hires. You will lead and educate, participate in professional development, and ensure patient safety and quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• RN license to practice nursing in Ohio (or current valid license).
• BLS certification required prior to patient contact.
• ACLS certification required within 6 months for step-down and ICU areas.
• All nurses hired after Jan 2010 should obtain BSN within 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Perform holistic patient assessments and implement the nursing process using the Practice Model.
• Develop and revise the plan of care for each patient, with measurable goals.
• Communicate care plans with SBAR and handoff to the care team.
• Provide patient and family education and support safety initiatives.
• Document care accurately in the EMR and participate in evidence-based practice.
