GPC Resource Planning serves at the center of many of the Company's most significant strategic initiatives, bringing together technical, financial, regulatory, and operational perspectives to guide decisions on the resources, infrastructure, and programs that will power Georgia's future.
This role will provide a front-row seat to the planning, evaluation, and implementation of the generation and transmission investments needed to support that growth while maintaining reliable and affordable service for customers. The successful candidate will partner with subject matter experts, company leadership, and stakeholders across Georgia Power and Southern Company to help shape decisions that influence the Company's generation fleet, transmission expansion, customer programs, and long-term energy future. The position offers significant opportunities to develop strategic business knowledge, broaden enterprise relationships, strengthen leadership skills, and gain exposure to regulatory, operational, and executive decision-making processes.

The Georgia Power Resource Planning Project Manager serves as the Georgia Power lead for assigned initiatives, providing overall project leadership, stakeholder alignment, issue resolution, executive communication, and strategic coordination across multiple organizations. Responsible for ensuring successful execution of complex projects from concept through regulatory approval and implementation.
The Resource Planning team has a hybrid work schedule including plans to be in the office four days a week. We do incorporate flexibility, but also the job could require more than four days in the office in a week if necessary.
