Job summary

Barnes-Jewish Hospital, part of BJC HealthCare, seeks an experienced Resource Nurse for the OR at Washington University Medical Center in Missouri. The role supports perioperative teams in a Level I trauma context, providing direct patient care, teaching, and equipment management.

Expect 4/10 hour shifts (weekdays), with 3 Mondays and 3 Fridays per 6-week cycle, plus potential call. A BSN is preferred, RN licensure required, with comprehensive benefits and a $20,000 bonus eligibility.

Qualifications

• OR experience required.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration in a fast-paced OR environment.
• RN license in good standing required.

Responsibilities

• Circulates and scrubs for assigned specialty and OR procedures.
• Serves as liaison between specialty physicians and hospital.
• Acts as clinical preceptor/mentor for orientee and staff.
• Manages inventory of specialty supplies and liaises with vendors.
