Job summary

Agropur Cooperative is seeking a Resource Operator II to perform operator tasks across applicable plant areas, including HTST and packaging, with shift coverage for breaks and vacations. This role supports sanitation, sampling, and equipment operation in a fast-paced dairy processing environment.

The position offers a starting hourly rate of $31.06 with a $1.50 night shift differential, plus opportunities for two pay increases within the first year, and a comprehensive benefits package including

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience: Minimum two (2) years in food plant manufacturing preferred.
• Skills: Good mechanical aptitude required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out all tasks in a safe and efficient manner.
• Train other workers on various tasks as needed.
• Perform CIP, Master Sanitation, and titrations to ensure high sanitation standards.
• Report equipment/production issues to Production Supervisor and communicate variances.
• Take area samples for micro and analytical results in a timely manner.
• Operate cheese/whey equipment and CIP systems proficiently (II).
• Complete pre-operational logs before production runs.

PermanentThe Resource Operator II is carries out all operator tasks in all applicable areas of the plant and provides shift coverage during employee breaks and vacations. Areas of responsibility may include: HTST and packaging. (Le Sueur Ingredients only) Areas of responsibility may include: HTST, starter, packaging, vat, belt, secondary starter/powder blend and mozzarella make room and custom processing dryer.
