Job summary

Complete Care in Wisconsin is seeking an experienced Regional Resource Nurse (RN) to support our skilled nursing facilities across the Madison region. This role offers a dynamic leadership position with hands-on clinical support, mentoring, and agency coverage to maintain high standards of resident care.

You will oversee nursing leadership coverage, provide education and coaching to teams, and collaborate with facility leaders to improve clinical outcomes while ensuring regulatory readiness.

Qualifications

  • Active Wisconsin RN license in good standing.
  • Minimum of 3 years in skilled nursing or long-term care.
  • Previous nursing leadership experience required.
  • Director of Nursing (DON) experience strongly preferred.
  • Thorough knowledge of state and federal regulations for skilled nursing facilities.
  • Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness and ability to travel throughout the Madison region.

Responsibilities

  • Provide interim clinical leadership at skilled nursing facilities throughout the Madison region.
  • Cover nursing leadership positions as needed (DON/ADON).
  • Support nursing teams with education, coaching, and mentorship.
  • Assist facilities with survey readiness, quality improvement initiatives, and regulatory compliance.
  • Collaborate with facility leadership to improve clinical outcomes and operational efficiency.
  • Promote person-centered care while maintaining compliance with standards.
  • Build relationships with interdisciplinary teams and provide hands-on clinical support.
  • Travel throughout the assigned region as needed.

Complete Care is seeking an experienced Regional Resource Nurse (RN) to support our skilled nursing facilities throughout the Madison, Wisconsin region. This is an excellent opportunity for a clinically strong, adaptable nurse leader who enjoys variety, mentoring teams, and making an immediate impact across multiple locations.

The Resource Nurse serves as a clinical leader, providing coverage for nursing leadership vacancies, assisting with operational needs, supporting regulatory readiness, and helping facilities maintain exceptional standards of resident care.

Responsibilities
  • Provide interim clinical leadership and nursing support at skilled nursing facilities throughout the Madison region.
  • Cover nursing leadership positions as needed, including Director of Nursing and Assistant Director of Nursing responsibilities.
  • Support nursing teams with clinical oversight, education, coaching, and mentorship.
  • Assist facilities with survey readiness, quality improvement initiatives, and regulatory compliance.
  • Collaborate with facility leadership to identify opportunities for improving clinical outcomes and operational efficiency.
  • Promote person-centered care while maintaining compliance with federal, state, and company standards.
  • Build positive relationships with interdisciplinary teams and provide hands-on clinical support when needed.
  • Travel throughout the assigned region based on business needs.
Qualifications
  • Active Wisconsin Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
  • Minimum of 3 years of skilled nursing or long-term care experience required.
  • Previous nursing leadership experience required.
  • Director of Nursing (DON) experience strongly preferred.
  • Thorough knowledge of state and federal regulations for skilled nursing facilities.
  • Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to quickly adapt to new environments and effectively lead diverse clinical teams.
  • Willingness and ability to travel throughout the Madison, Wisconsin region.
