Job summary

Indiana University Bloomington seeks a Resource Navigation and Systems Coordination Specialist to help individuals and families navigate complex service systems and access supports. You will work across CBSI and IRCA, coordinating referrals and building practical tools for better care access.

Ideal candidates bring experience in care coordination, strong knowledge of Medicaid/HCBS, and a commitment to person-centered practices while documenting interactions accurately.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in social work, psychology, human services, public health, nursing, or related field.
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, human services, public health, nursing, rehabilitation, or related field.
• Experience coordinating care or navigating resources for individuals with disabilities.
• Knowledge of Indiana Medicaid programs, HCBS waivers, insurance systems, and funding sources.
• Experience collaborating with families, providers, schools, healthcare organizations, and community agencies.

Responsibilities

• Provide hourly resource navigation and case management support.
• Assist individuals, families, educators, providers, and community partners in navigating service systems.
• Maintain knowledge of evolving Medicaid HCBS waivers, insurance benefits, and funding opportunities.
• Document interactions, referrals, and resource requests in center procedures.
• Collaborate with Center staff to support resource libraries and information systems.
