Ashurst Perkins Coie US LLP is seeking a collaborative Resource Librarian to advance our digital library strategy and support attorneys, business professionals, and firm leadership.

The role emphasizes integrating AI-powered tools within firm guidelines, enhancing research workflows, training staff, and delivering concise, well-organized research findings across offices. A MLS/MLIS is preferred and experience with interlibrary loan and legal resources is valued.

Formación

• Strong written and verbal communicator across teams.
• Well-versed in legal and business information sources, including courts, government agencies, trade associations, research databases, and AI-powered tools.
• Familiar with generative AI concepts and practical applications, including chatbots and content-generation models.
• Skilled in computer-assisted legal research, document retrieval, acquisitions, interlibrary loan, and core library services.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Master’s degree in Library or Information Science from an American Library Association-accredited program, including coursework or significant experience with legal bibliography.
• Interest in technology and a willingness to learn new tools, including generative AI applications.

Responsabilidades

• Resource Management: Manage acquisition, cataloging, and processing of print and digital resources, optimizing workflows and the integrated library system.
• Training & Outreach: Deliver engaging training and outreach to attorneys, business professionals, and staff on digital resources, research tools, and AI.
• Technology & Innovation: Explore and apply new technologies, databases, and AI tools to improve research efficiency, service delivery, and knowledge access.
• Research & Analysis: Conduct entry-level legal and business research using digital resources and AI; deliver clear, concise research findings through memos, reports, presentations, and other formats.
• Collaboration & Growth: Build partnerships with attorneys and library colleagues to advance firm objectives; support departmental projects and initiatives with accountability.
