Job description

Performs a variety of administrative functions for one or more Medical Center professionals. Work often requires detailed knowledge of the area and the application and interpretation of organizational and departmental policies and procedures. This role is responsible for managing multiple information systems and databases related to the deployment of human resources (pool staff) and coverage for Decedent Affairs work. All work must be coordinated with a Manager or the RN Nursing Supervisor.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Answer the telephone and interact with all levels of internal and external customers.
  2. Receive, communicate, and maintain pertinent documentation.
  3. Release bodies from the morgue to funeral home staff.
  4. Provide excellent customer service and support.
  5. Implement effective and professional office practices and procedures.
  6. Perform area-specific support activities.
  7. Other duties as assigned.

Position Compensation Range: $15.00 - $22.01 Hourly

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
  • Education: High School Graduate or equivalent
  • Experience: 1 year relevant experience
  • Licensure: None required
PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Requires proficient communication, auditory, and visual skills; attention to detail; ability to write legibly; ability to lift/push/pull 20-50 lbs.
