Job summary

Resort Lifestyle Communities in New York State is seeking a Part-Time Server to create meaningful dining experiences for residents, working with a close-knit team in a servant-hearted culture.

You will assist in Casual and Fine Dining, greet tables, take orders, serve courses, and help maintain a clean dining environment. No prior experience is required; you must be at least 15 and able to obtain food handler permits as needed.

Qualifications

• Must communicate effectively in English with residents, guests, and employees.
• Must be at least 15 years old.
• Ability to secure required food handler permits within two weeks of hire.
• State may require a work permit depending on residency.

Responsibilities

• Enhance dining by assisting residents in Casual Dining (carrying trays, beverages, meeting service needs).
• Support Fine Dining with greetings, menu guidance, order taking, and serving courses.
• Maintain dining room by clearing and resetting tables, handling dishes, refilling water, and setting tables.
• Assist with cleaning tasks such as vacuuming and maintaining salad bar.
• Deliver room service meals and pick up trays with a positive attitude.
• Listen to resident comments and relay feedback to management.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisors.
