Job summary

Qualifications

• Previous security experience preferred.
• Ability to gather and interpret information for reports.
• Knowledge of search and seizure, investigative and interviewing techniques may be advantageous.
• Ability to work independently or under indirect supervision.
• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provides internal/external patrol of buildings and surrounding property
• Locks and unlocks doors to permit entry at appropriate times
• Monitors cameras, alarms, and access control systems
• Performs inspections to detect safety hazards and violations
• Prepares safety reports and work orders
• Responds to emergencies and coordinates with local authorities
• Controls parking and vehicular traffic
• Ensures security of company assets and confidential information
