Job summary

Sea Colony Recreational, located in Bethany Beach, DE, is seeking a full‑time Security Officer to ensure safety and service excellence for owners, guests, and employees. You will patrol the property, handle emergencies, and provide friendly, professional support in a resort community managed by Troon.

The role requires reliable, vigilant individuals with strong communication skills. Training, a valid driver's license, and basic computer abilities are essential; CPR/First Aid and security

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to function effectively within a team environment.
• Capability to make sound decisions independently with minimal supervision.
• High degree of dependability and integrity.
• Basic computer skills for report writing and data entry.
• 1+ years of training or experience in security, military, and/or law enforcement.
• First Aid and CPR/AED certification (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Patrol & Monitoring: conduct regular patrols via vehicle, bicycle, and foot; monitor for suspicious activities; report promptly.
• Customer Service & Communication: assist guests, provide directions, and liaise with local authorities.
• Administration & Reporting: complete daily shift logs and incident reports; perform clerical tasks.
