Job summary

Sea Colony Recreational in Bethany Beach, DE is seeking a full-time Security Officer to protect our resort community and ensure a safe, welcoming environment for owners, guests, and employees.

You will patrol by vehicle, bicycle, and on foot, respond to emergencies, assist with guest needs, and maintain logs and reports; a valid driver's license and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid driver's license.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to function effectively within a team environment.
• Capability to make sound decisions independently with minimal supervision.
• High degree of dependability and integrity.
• Basic computer skills for report writing and data entry.
• 1+ years of training or experience in security, military, and/or law enforcement.
• First Aid and CPR/AED certification.

Responsibilities

• Patrol & monitoring of the property by vehicle, bicycle, and foot.
• Respond to security, medical, fire, and other emergencies.
• Assist guests with issues and provide directions.
• Maintain daily shift logs, incident reports, and documentation.
