Job summary

EOS Hospitality’s Islands of Islamorada seeks a friendly recreation guest service professional to support pools, waterfront areas, and outdoor activities. You will assist guests with equipment, weather safety, and resort amenities while maintaining clean, well-organized spaces.

The role emphasizes guest interaction, safety awareness, and teamwork with housekeeping, engineering, and front office to ensure a seamless experience for all visitors to this tropical Florida Keys resort.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in hospitality, recreation, guest services, or a similar customer-facing role preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a genuine passion for guest service.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and provide friendly, attentive service throughout the resort's recreational areas.
• Assist guests with recreational activities, equipment, and resort amenities.
• Provide information about resort activities, amenities, and local attractions.
• Set up and maintain recreational equipment, lounge chairs, umbrellas, towels, and other guest amenities.
• Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly and professionally to requests or concerns.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and overall presentation of pools and recreational spaces.
• Inspect recreational equipment for cleanliness, functionality, and safety.
• Assist with setup, coordination, and breakdown of activities and events.
• Monitor inventory of towels and equipment and communicate replenishment needs to management.
• Collaborate with Housekeeping, Engineering, Front Office, and other departments to ensure seamless service.
• Monitor safety in recreational areas and reinforce resort policies.
