Job summary

Sonesta International Hotels Corporation in Hawaii seeks a friendly Recreation Team Member to support guest activities, poolside events, wellness programming, and resort entertainment while creating a fun, welcoming atmosphere for guests of all ages.

You’ll collaborate with Recreation leadership and hotel teams to maintain safety and cleanliness, coordinate activities, and help deliver memorable experiences for our guests.

Qualifications

• Previous recreation, hospitality, resort, entertainment, guest activities, customer service, camp, or event experience preferred.
• Strong communication and guest service skills with outgoing, energetic personality.
• Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced hospitality or resort environment.

Responsibilities

• Support daily recreation operations including guest activities, poolside events, wellness experiences, family programming, and resort entertainment.
• Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic, and professional manner while helping create fun and memorable experiences.
• Assist with setting up, organizing, and facilitating games, activities, fitness classes, events, and recreational programming.
• Maintain cleanliness, safety, and presentation standards across pools, activity areas, fitness spaces, cabanas, and recreational facilities.
• Provide guests with information about resort activities, amenities, schedules, local attractions, and hotel services.
