This position is responsible for ensuring guest satisfaction and maintaining service standards, cash control accountabilities, and cleanliness of all associated areas including Activity Center, Movie Theatre, Arcade, Fitness Center, Pools, and all outdoor amenities. The individual will execute activities and events by consistently monitoring resort activity programs, special events, and entertainment. This position will perform room inspections throughout the property as needed.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND TASKS:

  • Executing all resort activities and events.
  • Consistent cleaning of Activity Center, Arcade, Pools, and Amenities including dusting, vacuuming, hosing of decks, picking up trash, sanitizing, window washing, scrubbing tiles, and emptying and re-bagging trash bins.
  • Inspecting pool areas daily, including testing emergency pool phones and inspecting all ladders, handrails, pool deck, floor grates, handicap lifts, first aid kits, and life-saving devices.
  • Enforcing rules and regulations in all areas, including occupancy levels and knowledge of 911 emergency procedures.
  • Performing other tasks as assigned, including room inspections.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated experience interacting with children and families.
  • Experience in a theme park, parks and recreation, hospitality, or resort environment is desired.
  • Custodial experience preferred.
  • Prior cash handling experience preferred.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

  • Familiarity with water safety; CPR/AED certification is a plus.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Participates in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.
  • Ability to follow procedures and guidelines in accomplishing tasks.
  • Ability to be self-directed.
  • Skill in attention to detail.
  • Effective communication in English.
  • Moderate decision-making is required under limited supervision.
  • Excellent customer service skills and cash handling experience.
  • Must be able to communicate basic resort information to owners and guests.
