Job summary

Hawaii Family Portraits is seeking a full‑time Sales Associate & Portrait Photographer based at partner resorts in Kohala. The role covers desk hours, converting guests into booked sessions through in‑person conversations and hotel‑staff referrals, and managing the full client experience from consultations to shooting and photo reveals.

The position offers hourly pay with commissions and requires an outgoing personality, resort-brand representation, and weekend/evening availability.

Qualifications

• Experience in portrait or family photography preferred.
• Proficiency with Lightroom and Photoshop for editing.
• Sales or customer-facing experience preferred; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Cover desk hours at partner resorts in Kohala as the face of Hawaii Family Portraits.
• Proactively start conversations with guests and convert them into booked sessions.
• Build relationships with hotel staff to increase referrals and bookings.
• Lead sales consultations and guide clients to appropriate portrait packages.
• Manage the client experience from consultations to shooting to photo reveal sales.
