Job summary

icreatives is seeking a General Manager / Resort Photographer to lead our resort photography operations on the Big Island. You will manage daily activities, coordinate a team of photographers, and ensure top-quality images for clients.

Responsibilities include scheduling, budgeting, client liaison, and hands-on photography and editing to meet high standards. This full-time onsite role requires flexibility, travel to four Big Island locations, and a passion for travel photography.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in photography, visual arts, or related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of photography experience, preferably in resort or hospitality.
• Strong leadership and management skills to motivate a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and editing software.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Passion for photography with a keen eye for detail.
• Knowledge of resort operations and customer service principles.
• Must have a reliable vehicle and valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the resort photography business, including scheduling, budgeting, and managing a team of photographers and support staff.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with resort staff and management to ensure smooth operations and excellent customer service.
• Capture high-quality images of the resort, including landscapes, amenities, activities, and guest experiences.
• Edit and retouch photos to meet company standards and client expectations.
• Manage and maintain photography equipment, including cameras, lenses, lighting, and other accessories.
• Coordinate with clients to understand their photography needs and deliver exceptional results.
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends and techniques to continually improve service quality.
