Job summary

Pet Paradise is seeking a Resort Associate to care for our four-legged guests at our Phoenix location. Starting pay is $15.25/hour with $0.50 raises after 6 months and on the anniversary date, plus comprehensive benefits for eligible staff.

The role emphasizes hands-on pet care, safety, and teamwork in a busy resort setting. Advancement opportunities, including leadership and grooming/training pathways, are highlighted in our programs.

Qualifications

• Must enjoy working with animals and be physically able to perform duties.
• Cheerful, friendly, and a positive team-oriented attitude.
• Flexibility to work days, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Able to lift up to 60 lbs and perform light cleaning and maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and interact with pets inside the resort and in play yards.
• Follow feeding instructions and manage food amounts.
• Maintain cleanliness of suites and dog runs; disinfect and mop floors.
• Monitor pets and report unusual behaviors or injuries to management/vet services.
• Use proper pet-handling techniques and ensure high safety standards.
• Adhere to training policies to ensure pet safety.
