Job summary

Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino is seeking a skilled painter/repair technician to wallpaper, paint and repair drywall across designated areas of the resort. The role involves operating spray equipment, ladders and lifts, and applying finishes to furniture and building surfaces.

The position requires physical stamina, reading and following safety instructions, and the ability to read blueprints and estimates.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read, write and understand English and follow instructions.
• Basic math to estimate supplies and costs.
• Ability to lift and move objects up to 100 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, operate and repair work projects.
• Provide data during work progression to establish job standardization programs.
• Provide reports of operations, maintenance and repair to supervisory personnel.
• Operate spray gun, hopper, climb ladders and operate lifts to work in high areas using rollers, brushes, tape and paper tools.
• Remove and reapply paint finish to furniture with hazardous chemicals and paints.
• Repair and maintain building and structures.
• Climb ladders to paint ceilings and walls, reaching awkward positions to paint base boards.
