Destination by Hyatt at Spruce Peak Resort in Vermont is seeking a skilled painter to join our maintenance crew. The role focuses on delivering high-quality painting services across diverse projects, including surface preparation and achieving a flawless finish.

The ideal candidate will have experience with color matching, drywall and tile repairs, and basic carpentry. The position offers a dynamic work environment in a resort setting and opportunities to grow within the team.

Qualifications

• Must be familiar with all types of paints, stains, varnishes, lacquers, clear coats and strippers.
• Experience with color matching, paint applications and surface preparation.
• Experience with drywall repairs, tile repairs both floor and wall and carpet.
• Experience with brush and roller selection as well the use of hand tools, spraying equipment and some power tools.
• Experience with furniture repairs, light carpentry and plexiglass a plus.
• Ability to read and write the English language fluently.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality painting across multiple projects.
• Prepare surfaces, mix and apply paint, and ensure a flawless finish.
• Assist with tile and drywall repairs and light carpentry where needed.
