Job summary

The Painter at Woodstock Inn, Woodstock, VT, is responsible for interior and exterior painting, floor reconditioning, and related projects. You will maintain safety standards and ensure high-quality workmanship, delivering tasks on schedule and within scope.

Qualified candidates have 5+ years of professional painting experience, knowledge of surface prep, coatings, and application techniques, and the ability to read work orders and project specs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional painting experience.
• Expert knowledge of surface preparation, coatings, and application techniques.
• Ability to read work orders and project specifications.
• Follow OSHA and Vermont state regulations.
• Attention to detail, speed and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, scraping, patching, and priming.
• Apply paint, stains, coatings, or finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
• Ensure all work meets company quality standards and customer expectations.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site.
• Use safety procedures and proper use of PPE.
• Communicate progress, issues, and changes to Lead Painter.
• Inspect completed work and perform touch-ups as necessary.
