Job summary

Grand Portage Lodge seeks a Lodge Manager to oversee the Lodge and Hollow Rock Resort, ensuring efficient and profitable operation. The role involves direct oversight or through supervisors, addressing guest needs, and coordinating with leadership to meet standards.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, knowledge of hotel operations, strong customer service, confidentiality, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. Evening/weekend availability is expected.

Qualifications

• Must have knowledge and experience in hotel operations.
• Must have customer service skills.
• Must be able to maintain confidentiality and have organizational skills.
• Knowledge of office practices and procedures and the ability to use all office equipment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, and Power Point.
• Strong oral and written communication skills are an asset.
• Must be willing to work evenings and weekends when needed.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operation of the Lodge and Hollow Rock Resort, ensuring efficient and profitable daily operations.
• Perform duties personally or via subordinate supervisors as assigned by the supervisor.
• Address guest needs and ensure high standards of hospitality and service.
• Coordinate with the Enterprise Administrator for scheduling and resource planning.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and confidentiality requirements.
