Job summary

Grand Portage Lodge & Casino seeks a Supervisor to coordinate maintenance and ground-keeping activities across our Lodge & Casino facilities. You will lead the maintenance team, establish procedures to meet schedules, and inspect work for quality against standards.

You will requisition tools and supplies, manage inventories, and support cross-department needs. Background checks and pre-employment testing apply; American Indian Preference will apply.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in maintaining and repairing physical structures of Lodge & Casino buildings and maintaining grounds.
• Directs work of the maintenance team performing various duties to maintain our buildings.
• Establishes and adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules.
• Analyzes and resolves problems or assists workers in solving work problems.
• Inspects completed work for conformance to specifications and standards.
• Requisitions tools, equipment and supplies and maintains an inventory of all equipment purchased and loaned out to other departments.
