Job summary

Hotel Investment Services, Inc. is seeking a Full-Time Resort Maintenance Worker for Drummond Island Resort to perform general upkeep across plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting and HVAC systems.

The role offers benefits and requires availability evenings and weekends for emergencies. You will inspect equipment, troubleshoot issues, perform routine repairs, paint interiors and exteriors, manage supplies, and assist guests with recreation activities while coordinating with the Housekeeping

Qualifications

• Ability to follow instructions from supervisors or senior maintenance workers.
• Knowledge of general carpentry and repair.
• Ability to use hand tools and power tools.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Inspects and identifies equipment or machines in need of repair.
• Troubleshoots issues to determine necessary repairs.
• Perform general repairs such as drywall, painting, and fixtures.
• Paint interior and exterior of buildings and facilities.
• Maintain resort grounds and cleanliness.
• Perform routine maintenance on refrigeration, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
• Order supplies and materials for repairs.
• Available evenings and weekends for emergencies.
• Assist guests with Recreation activities.
• Coordinate with Housekeeping for upkeep.
