Job summary

Hotel Investment Services is seeking a Resort Maintenance Worker for Drummond Island Resort. The role involves maintaining safe, clean facilities through general maintenance, repairs, painting, and routine system checks. Flexible hours include evenings and weekends to handle emergencies.

Responsibilities include inspecting equipment, troubleshooting issues, and assisting with guest services. A valid driver's license and physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds are required.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow instructions from supervisors or senior maintenance workers.
• Knowledge of general carpentry and repair.
• Ability to use hand tools and power tools.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
• Driver's License is required.

Responsibilities

• Inspects and identifies equipment or machines in need of repair.
• Troubleshoots issues to determine necessary repairs.
• Performs general repairs such as drywall, painting, and fixtures.
• Paints interior and exterior areas of buildings and rooms.
• Maintains cleanliness of resort grounds and surrounds.
• Performs routine maintenance on refrigeration, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
• Orders supplies and materials needed for repairs and maintenance.
• Address guest concerns in a timely and courteous manner.
• Assist and guide guests with recreation activities.
