Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
- Certificate in HVAC, building maintenance technology, or a relevant field is .
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of electrical and hydraulic systems.
- Advanced understanding of general maintenance procedures and techniques.
- Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
- Ability to analyze, diagnose, and resolve issues effectively.
- Ability to perform tasks with precision and accuracy.
- Ability to lift, carry, and move tools and materials.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively identify problems and possible resolutions with the Resort Manager and the Vice President of Resort Operations.
- Ability to maintain accurate records of work performed.
- Ability to use computer systems for record keeping and communication.
Job Description
- The Resort Maintenance Technician reports to the Resort Manager.
- The Resort Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining the resort in full operating efficiency and repairing any problems when they are discovered before they have a chance to worsen.
- Perform minor repairs, such as carpentry, painting, and landscaping tasks.
- Perform major repairs with or without outside contractors as needed to ensure projects are completed efficiently.
- Maintain the cleanliness and functionality of buildings and grounds to maximize guest satisfaction.
- Regularly inspect, clean, and lubricate equipment and systems to ensure optimal performance and prevent breakdowns.
- Inspect, troubleshoot, and address malfunctions in mechanical, electrical, and other systems, using a variety of tools and techniques.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and any issues encountered.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures, ensuring a safe working environment and creating a positive experience for our guests.
- Respond quickly to a maintenance ticket from the Resort Manager or Resort Office Assistant within 2 hours of the ticket’s receipt.
- Duties include fixing machinery, plumbing, HVAC, pool, and wiring, and inspecting buildings to confirm safety standards.
- Maintain positive interpersonal skills with other resort employees and guests.
- Maintain all maintenance certifications required and paid by LCDS.

- Salary is Negotiable based on experience
- Job Type: Full-time
- Minimum 40 hours per week. Weekends on a rotating basis, on-call for emergencies.
