Job summary

Capital Vacations is seeking a Maintenance Manager to plan, supervise, and review the maintenance staff responsible for exterior care, building upkeep, and waterpark facilities across resort locations. The role requires coordinating with vendors to minimize guest disruption and ensuring safety and compliance across all systems.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in facilities/property management, CPO/AFO and HVAC certifications, OSHA training, and 1–2 years in resort maintenance.

Qualifications

• Have a valid driver's license and proof of insurance.
• Have and maintain a good driving record clear of significant violations.
• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in facilities/property management.
• Experience in a manager-level resort maintenance role.
• One (1) to two (2)years of experience in building and facilities maintenance.
• Certified Pool Operator (CPO) or Aquatic Facility Operator (AFO) certification.
• HVAC certification.
• OSHA certification.
• Hazardous material handling training within six (6) months of hire date.
• One (1) year experience in the care, maintenance, and repair of large, commercial, or public swimming pools and associated equipment and facilities.
• Ability to perform maintenance duties, such as plumbing, electrical, construction, appliance repairs, painting and pool maintenance.
• Ability to multi-task and handle all maintenance issues.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance and upkeep of resort buildings and units.
• Coordinate with outside vendors to minimize guest disruption.
• Supervise maintenance staff and review work.
• Ensure safety inspections and compliance (fire, water, employee safety).
• Maintain organized work areas and manage inventory.
• Perform a variety of skilled maintenance tasks (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, pool maintenance).
• Lead weekend MOD assignments and coordinate major contract work.
