Responsibilities

• Assigns workers their duties and inspects work for conformance to prescribed standards of cleanliness.
• Investigates complaints regarding housekeeping service and equipment and takes corrective action.
• Obtains lists of rooms to be cleaned and prospective check-outs to prepare work assignments.
• Coordinates work activities among departments.
• Conducts orientation and in-service training on policies and procedures and equipment.
• Performs cleaning duties in cases of emergency or staff shortage.
• Maintains lost and found control point.
• Oversees safe use of cleaning equipment and supplies.
• Ensures the property is clean, orderly, well-manicured, and guest-ready.
• Provides regular and reliable attendance.
