Job summary

Equity Lifestyle Properties is hiring a full-time Housekeeper in Wauchula, FL to ensure our resorts remain clean and inviting for guests. The role involves cleaning offices, clubhouses, cabins, rentals, and common areas to high standards, with attention to inventory and guest service.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, 1–3 years of housekeeping experience, knowledge of cleaning products, and a valid driver’s license. Weekend and holiday work may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or the equivalent.
• 1–3 years of housekeeping experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of cleaning products and supplies.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Housekeepers clean the resort office, clubhouse, public areas and models including mopping, dusting, vacuuming and trash removal.
• Clean cabins and rentals to prepare for new guests.
• Keep rentals and common areas clean and maintained to standards.
• Track cleaning supply inventory and request refills as needed.
• Report maintenance concerns for repairs in common areas or rentals to the Resort Manager or Maintenance Supervisor.
• Assist maintenance staff and other team members as needed.
• Assist with cleaning up resort-sponsored guest activities and functions.
• Respond to guest inquiries in a timely, professional manner with patience and concern.
• Possibly drive a motorized vehicle to run errands or pick up supplies.
• Work with management to maintain open communications and coordinated team effort.
• Provide outstanding customer service.
